Abstract

Population growth and modernization provided the occurrence of many environmental problems to the world, a number of consequences for the environment and the health of living beings were provoked. So with these changes also emerged many concerns and measures to reduce the impacts to the environment. It was from the context of sustainable development that society began to adopt environmental conservation measures. This review aims to analyze the aspects of sustainable development in the improvement of environmental sanitation. Work it is a literature search, developed through legislation, books and national and international journals. Due to research addressing the evolution of sustainable development and environmental sanitation, we used books and scientific articles published between 1964 and 2016. This study may notice that milestones such as environmental accidents and world conferences on the environment, were crucial to the evolution of sustainable development and therefore greater attention and investment in sanitation in urban and rural areas. The research topic is of great importance, because once the study of sustainable development and environmental sanitation serves as policy management tool, environmental and social. Analyzing the human relationship with the environment, and thus can contribute to further improvements that contribute to the quality of life of all people and the protection of natural resources.

Possui graduação em CIÊNCIAS BIOLÓGICAS Bacharelado pela Universidade Paranaense (2009), pós graduação em Perícia Ambiental pela Universidade Paranaense (2011). Habilitação em Ciências Biológicas equivalente a licenciatura plena - Programa de Formação de Professores (PROFOP) pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - UTFPR. Tem experiência na área de Biologia Geral, com ênfase em Biologia Geral e na docência. Mestre em Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável na Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná - Unioeste/ Campus de Marechal Cândido Rondon. Servidora pública da Prefeitura Municipal de Marmeleiro/PR. Cursando atualmente pós graduação em Gestão Ambiental Municipal.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Ambiental pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (2015). Técnico em Meio Ambiente pelo Instituto Federal do Paraná (2014). Atualmente é mestrando no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Agrícola da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná. Tem experiência em Engenharia Ambiental, com ênfase em gestão de resíduos sólidos, tratamento biológico de resíduos orgânicos urbanos e agroindustriais.
