With the advancement of the agricultural frontier in the Midwest region of Brazil, native fruit species of this region, with sustained exploitation potential in the short and medium term, are still little explored, which may lead them to extinction. In this scenario, research aimed at the propagation, establishment, development and conservation of these species should be encouraged for use in plant genetic studies, genetic improvement, maintenance of germplasm banks, product diversification, income generation, and their introduction into the production chain, increasing thus the sustainable production of native fruit seedlings in the Midwest region. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of shading, line tube and mica schist powder on seedling production. The experimental design was completely randomized, with 12 treatments and 10 replications in a 3 x 2 x 2 factorial scheme - three environments: 85% shade, 50% shade and full sun; two sources of mineralization: urea compound + simple superphosphate + potassium chloride (NPK) and mica schist powder (PMX) and two types of containers: rigid polyethylene tubing and plastic spools (line tubing). Irradiance greater than 50% reduced seedling initial development. Micaxist powder did not affect allometric variables in D. alata or during 120 days after sowing.
