The development of language skills as a basis for the professional success of high school students

The present study addresses the importance of developing language skills in high school for students' professional success. It investigates how improving these skills can positively impact your professional trajectories. The study highlights the role of linguistic skills, including reading, writing, speaking and understanding, in the current professional context, and discusses pedagogical strategies to promote these skills in the school environment. Furthermore, it analyzes current language teaching practices, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. The article also presents previous research on critical literacy and its integration with contemporary approaches to teaching foreign languages. It is concluded that investing in the development of these skills is essential to prepare students for the challenges of the job market and contribute to their personal and social development.
