This research on the evaluation of the water quality of the Ipojuca River was carried out through exploratory bibliographic research, in addition to monitoring the analysis of monthly water quality data made available by the National Water Agency website. The location of the Ipojuca River is between Zona da Mata and Agreste Pernambucano. The water quality parameters analyzed were: dissolved oxygen, temperature and turbidity. According to the results presented, it was possible to observe that the water quality of the Ipojuca River is quite compromised due to the different types of pollution of the waters of the River. Therefore, it was highlighted that the main sources of pollution found came from local agro-industries.
