Paving means implanting a regular, adherent surface, with greater resistance, providing better rolling conditions, which contributes to greater comfort and safety for users. In Brazil, 95% of paved roads are of the flexible type, due to their waterproofing characteristics, flexibility, in addition to large labor and equipment. And although it presents numerous advantages, in the course of its useful life and use, it can present pathologies. We sought to evaluate the state of a section of avenue Nações Unidas, in Porto Nacional. Considering the importance of the road, the presence of pathologies significantly impairs traffic, which leads to an increase in people using the TO-050 to enter the city, increasing the flow in the municipal section. This is applied research, with a qualitative approach, through a case study in the field. A visual and photographic investigation of the stretch was carried out, where pathologies were identified throughout the road, mainly wear and tear, and it may be due to poor execution, in addition to also presenting pots and problems in the encounter with unpaved roads and places where it was carried out. asphalt is cut for water installation. A more in-depth study is recommended, in order to analyze the road project and its execution, to carry out a repair of the entire road, aiming at a reduction of the problems, in addition to presenting a need and periodic maintenance, especially preventive.
