Ivermectin is a notable Emerging Contaminant and its consumption in Brazil was increased by 557% in 2020. A removal method by adsorption using an activated carbon functionalized with graphene oxide was put to the test. The isotherms found showed favorable behaviour and the best model was Freundlich’s, agreeeing with results found by other works with similar adsorbents.
