The use of different kinds of waste, from agricultural activities, can be an attractive option for energy generation from its treatments through anaerobic digestion. In several regions of Brazil, where the main activity is agriculture, there is a high potential for expansion in the energy network. In these areas can be found, among others, swine manure, poultry beds, cattle manure and the by-products of milk processing. Therefore, it may often be possible to mix some of these waste in the biogas production, either due to the need of the property or because they demonstrate high potential when combined. The present work evaluated the potential of biogas production from the combination of different waste from swine, cattle and milk industrialization activities. The tests were carried out in batches, in 250 mL glass bottles, kept under mesophilic conditions (36 °C) for a period of 58 days. The results were compared, according to the Tukey test and the First Order Kinetics, modified Gompertz and Chen and Hashimoto models were used to describe the behavior of biogas production. At the end of the experiment, the substrate that stood out with the highest biogas production was Swine + Whey, with a volume of 1693.58 mLN g SV-1. However, when compared to the substrate Bovine + Pork, according to the Tukey test, there is no significant difference between the production means. Furthermore, the injection of a small amount of air into a biodigestion system proved to be efficient in the process of removing H2S.
