Strategic study for the development of sustainable tourism in the municipalities that make up the AMAI region in Western Santa Catarina

Abstract

The study addresses strategies for the sustainable development of tourism in the municipalities that make up the region of the Association of Municipalities of Alto Irani - AMAI in an intermunicipal way. The objective of the research is to develop a strategic study that can support the sustainable development of tourism in the municipalities that make up the AMAI region in Western Santa Catarina. We adopted documentary research and the Matrix of Conditions, Deficiencies and Potentialities (CDP Matrix) as methodological procedure. Through the CDP Matrix, strategic objectives and goals for sustainable tourism development were elaborated. As a result, we identified the precarious urban and rural infrastructure to supply the demand for local tourism and the lack of public inter-municipal policies for the sustainable development of tourism. The study proposes a direction enabling the correction of weaknesses and promoting the potential through intercity tourist routes as a way to create means that enable the fulfillment of the pre-established strategic objectives promoting regional sustainable tourism.

Pós-graduado em nível de especialização (Lato Sensu) em Desenvolvimento Regional e Dinâmica Regionais, Arquitetura e Patrimônio, Direito Imobiliário, Arquitetura e Design de Interiores, Arquitetura e Paisagismo, Gastronomia e Gestão Social: Políticas Públicas, Redes e Defesa de Direitos e Docência no Ensino Superior, Gestão e Tutoria no EaD. Arquiteto e Urbanista pela Unoesc (2007). Atua como professor e pesquisador do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Coordenador do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Unoesc Xanxerê. Professor e coordenador técnico das pós-graduações de Planejamento Urbano, Sistemas Construtivo de Edificações e Arquitetura de Interiores. Coordenador da pós-graduação de Projeto e Execução de Edificações. Membro do comitê de avaliação e seleção de projetos de pesquisa da Unoesc Xanxerê. Membro do Núcleo Docente Estruturante NDE do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Professor da Universidade da Melhor Idade de Xanxerê - UMIX na disciplina de turismo. Tem experiência na coordenação e elaboração de Planos Diretores de Desenvolvimento Territorial, em projeto de arquitetura de edificações comerciais e de interiores. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: planejamento, urbano, gestão territorial, planejamento urbano, arquitetura de interiores, patrimônio histórico urbanos. É cervejeiro caseiro artesanal desde 2014, possui certificação em água cervejeira e cervejas Ácidas. Sommelier de cerveja pelo ICB (2019).

Vanessa Matté, Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina

Possui graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina(2018). Atualmente é Arquiteta do Mussio Arquitetura e Engenharia. Tem experiência na área de Arquitetura e Urbanismo.
