In March 2020 a pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization. As a result, several measures have been taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, the measures of isolation and social distance came, we observed the reflexes on society and business. The sudden implementation of digital transformation technologies, such as the use of VPN, collaboration networks and the use of cloud programs have made Home Office (HO) work possible. However, the implementation of technologies in the work environment can have both positive and negative consequences. We emphasize the importance of prioritizing the mental and physical health of workers in HO. Provide an ergonomic work environment and give the worker the opportunity to work in person. In addition, we verified a possible replacement of labor by machines. We emphasize the sustainability of the HO, due to the decrease in gas emissions and the decrease in traffic and its discriminatory bias, with the elitization in the HO due to the low representation of vulnerable workers.
