E-commerce analysis for entrepreneurship in the Covid-19 pandemic

The world has suffered the impacts caused by the global pandemic of Covid-19, its effects have dissipated in all aspects of civilization, starting from isolation and social distancing, to the very possibility of not being able to work. In this context, entrepreneurship was negatively affected, these had to adapt to the new normal both the initial businesses and also the consolidated ones. Among the changes that occurred in the economic sector was the adoption of measures to suspend commercial activities, leaving open companies whose activities were the main part of the government. With this, the secondary category businesses had to embrace and adopt sales alternatives that did not promote agglomerations of audiences, nor face-to-face service. As an outlet to face the impacts of the "lockdown" companies found themselves in the eminence of the use of digital technologies to be able to continue working, selling to an audience that seeks goods through the internet. Given the above, the general objective of this article is to study e-commerce as an alternative for the survival of enterprises amid the effects of the pandemic of the new coronona virus, to this end, we highlight as specific objectives to point out the results of sales operations through digital means and the importance of this sales mechanism for the enterprises. This article makes use of quantitative research methodology with a view to its advantages for analyzing the use of the technology inherent to the eletrontrade, this time analyzed statistical data that show the growth of the segment in the early years of the pandemic. Still descriptively, the uav des of the implementation and adoption of e-commerce as a sales tool was dissected. Finally, measures were pointed out to give more efficiency to those who undertake pointing out the challenges to be solved.
